WWWizer (like "wiser" :-) – free naked domain redirect
Redirects example.com to www.example.com
Service is free, there is no need to signup or leave your email.
Just point your naked domain (without www) A-record to 174.129.25.170
And that is all you need to do.

But remember one thing – there is no warranty of any kind. For status updates follow @wwwizer. |
Uptime and response time report |
When responding with a redirect WWWizer just adds www to the url (if it is not present there). So full path is preserved, all GET parameters (stuff after "?") also left intact. POST requests must also work.
Unfortunately. It is impossible because of the way SSL works – read from "It comes as rather a shock...".
You need these records in DNS:
| example.com | A | 174.129.25.170 |
| www.example.com | CNAME | ghs.google.com |
And usual mail-related MX-records. Also you can star this issue so Google will add this feature to App Engine.
In case of abuse access may be blocked on per domain-name basis.
